Often, I’ll look on Facebook or Pinterest for information about this, that or the other. I don’t really use Google anymore. And then I found some smart bloggers that write about the very things I wanted to research.
These ladies are my Go-To Gals when I’m wanting to learn something new or keep me updated on what’s trending. This list of bloggers aren’t my only source of “What’s Going On” but they sure make it hassle-free with their tips and suggestions in one place.
To make it easy on you, I’ve made a list of my favorite Smart Bloggers I follow and why you should follow them too.
Rosemarie Groner: Number Cruncher at The Busy Budgeter
I’ve listed her first because she is my inspiration to start blogging. Rosemarie was able to climb out of debt, quit her day job as a State Trooper and start her own business. Yup, she’s a momprenuer, boss babe, and budget guru all wrapped up into one!
Her expertise includes teaching her readers how to start a budget and stick to it. She suggests actionable steps and encourages behavior modification in order to achieve a more organized budget and lifestyle.
Her 90 Day Budget Bootcamp is free (sign-up is located at the very top of her website) and also admits you into a private Facebook group. With almost 4000 members, it’s hard to believe she responds to questions and emails daily.
And to any aspiring Bloggers, if you don’t get her newsletters on Blogging, skip the rest of this post and go sign up for Rosemarie’s Blogger inspired newsletters. You’ve got some homework now:)
Erin Chase, Chief Chef at $5 Dinners
When you see this chick’s website, you’ll know she’s serious when it comes to Budget friendly good food. She’s designed and created her own product line, and she’s been on TV! Even the media loves her. She is on Facebook live and gives cooking tutorials for free.
Erin’s number one star attraction is the Grocery Budget Makeover class. There are 1000’s of people that take this class and swear by it. I haven’t because I’m a lazy student, don’t judge me.
Don’t let the fact that she’s slim and gorgeous, lots of her menu items are completely yummylicious. Don’t pass up a chance to look at what all she has to offer on her blog because it’s awesome information for frugal meals!
Katie: DIYer of The Crafty Blog Stalker
Katie owner and creator is accompanied by a group of contributors who help add to the awesomeness of her DIY blog. The best thing I like about this blog are the video tutorials. I don’t watch very many, so when I do, her’s that usually catch my attention.
I should really complain because her crafting videos will get me off task quickly and they will you too. If you’re curious about crafting like me, give her website a look.
Her specialties include crafts, home decor, jewelry & sewing. I’m also seriously DIY challenged and she makes me at least want to try. You might just find out how cool it is too, you’re welcome!
Trish: Teaching Tips at Hip Homeschool Moms
I don’t homeschool and I’m not sure that I will, but I follow this blog on Facebook because of all the neat stuff they post. Upon better inspection of their blog, I found a huge community of mothers that contribute to this blog and it really gives it a good mix of voices.
You don’t need to be a homeschooling mom to find a great variety of Kid friendly info or lifestyle focused stories. This site offers a huge selection of writers to follow. You won’t be disappointed.
Brittany: Holding Us Accountable with Equipping Godly Women
I must warn you, if you’re looking for a blog that only tells you the warm fuzzy Jesus stuff, keep on going. She’s not an over-done preacher’s wife screaming from her chalet in Beverly Hills. She’s just a gal who’s read the Bible and has a firm realistic grip on life.
I like her straight talk because it’s easy to follow and understand. I recently participated in her Ignite Your Faith Challenge and really enjoyed it. Give her a look-see. I’m glad to have found a Christian blog I can read without all the fluff.
Ann: Owner and Free Spirit of Ann’s Entitled Life
When I first heard the title to this blog, I thought she might be slightly egotistical. Now, I just want to BE her someday… retired! She does everything I like to do. Gardening, cooking and travel are just a few of the topics she writes about.
But what really got my attention was her awesome category on cocktails, wine and liquor. The pictures look absolutely fabulous and makes me wish I was her neighbor. If you can drink it, she probably has a recipe for it.
Head over to Ann’s Entitled life for all the carefree life vibes you’re looking for. I love it!
Passionate Penny Pincher created by Laurie & Shannon.
I discovered Laurie on Facebook and looked forward to her posts because she always give everyone the heads-up for bargains. She keeps up with all the big name stores like Walmart, Target and Amazon.
Her Facebook live sessions are fun and informative. I have a huge crush on her kitchen. Most her videos are taking place inside her fabulous kitchen. However, don’t let that distract you too long because she’s got something cool to discuss so listen 🙂
She also has two categories devoted to coupons. Need a coupon, just head over there and look at either her coupon database or Printable coupons. Following Passionate Penny Pincher is a huge win!
Mommy Blog (Nice)—
Holly (Quirky Momma): Helping Moms at Kids Activities Blog
This is like one-stop shopping for anything having to do with children. She has attractive blog pages filled with eye popping pictures that link you to super cool stories. Located on the left hand side is a six section tool bar that lets you travel quickly to exactly what age group you need to research.
Holly advertises as a place of Inspiration for Kids and she is completely correct. Stop in over at Holly’s blog for all your kid related questions. You could lose a couple of hours reading all the posts, but that’s ok. Also, sign up for her newsletter, it’s amazing!
Mommy Blog (Eye Brow Raised)
Scary Mommy (collabration of many) Mommy Truths 101
If you’re at all delicate, get your feelings hurt easy or just plain uptight… absolutely do not read anything from Scary Mommy. I myself have a sassy sense of humor therefore I love this blog. It’s the truth, it’s in your face, it’s all of us.
You might have to read the stories when no one can walk up behind you, but they’re so worth it. I follow their craziness on Facebook and totally look forward to reading whatever raunchy commotion is being posted. Most of the stories are either soul bearing, mothering equality or what every mother is thinking but doesn’t dare say out loud.
It’s quite possible the best blog ever written. Owned and operated by Vinit Bharara who is assisted by a huge staff and contributors from all over the U.S.
To recap all my favorite bloggers, check this list and go read them.
